Emergency Dentistry
Our office policy is to see emergencies on a same day basis. Walk-ins are also accepted. Should you experience an accident or develop a toothache, we will do our best to attend to your needs that same day. Dental infections are serious and can be life threatening. Don’t suffer through the pain — contact our A+Dentistry office immediately for emergency dentistry services, or just walk in. We advise you to call in these situations early in the day if at all possible as this gives us much more latitude to effectively help you.
Dental trauma to permanent teeth
With kids and adolescents playing sports, riding bikes, swimming, jumping on trampolines, and much more – trauma to permanent teeth is common. If a permanent tooth is knocked out, severely chipped, or displaced, immediate action is required. In case a permanent tooth is knocked out, if possible, rinse off any debris and put the tooth back in the socket, carefully holding it only by the crown (top of the tooth). Call the office right away at 770-889-5335. If the tooth cannot be re-implanted, place it in milk or saliva – not water or salt water.
If you can not reach us in case of an emergency, call 911 or go to the closest hospital.
